AIM
The Christian Leadership Council was founded for the purpose of sharing the “Good News”
of Jesus Christ with Florida's governmental leaders. It was
initiated on the premise of a strong focus on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
The Christian Leadership Council fosters opportunities for State governmental
leaders to develop a vibrant and personal relationship with Christ. The
Christian Leadership Council promotes its Christian ministry through variety
events. There are structured programs such as Bible Studies, prayer
breakfasts, guest speakers, and conferences, as well as witnessing opportunities
nurtured through a continuous and faithful ministry of presence at the Capitol.
The Christian Leadership Council, Inc., nurtures Christian growth by means of
equipping political leaders to exercise/express their consciences of faith
regardless of political parties, or denominational background and to become effective
leader servants for God in public office.
BELIEF
The Christian Leadership Council believes that the name of our Lord and Savior
should be lifted up in the life of every believer in all aspects of his/her life
to include service in politics. Politics is that worldly activity which
governs human society and should include the
Christian worldview in the debate at the public forum. The Christian Leadership Council,
Inc.,
was created to be a voice of conscience servicing the body
politic. Since the founding of our great nation, Christian men and women
have made significant contributions in all aspects and in all dimensions of
government. Holy Scriptures is foundational
for everything, and that “all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for
teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man
of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
PRACTICE
The Christian Leadership Council is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible ministry.
It is an independently incorporated organization with no denominational ties or
religious affiliations. The Christian Leadership Council, Inc., does not engage
in any lobbying or political action activities. It does engage in
activities to persuade legislation or the legislative process. As a result
The Christian Leadership Council will not promulgate political positions nor
influence others to do so. A Board of Directors
exists to oversee the activities of the CLC, and all business and financial
follow strict accounting guidelines.
