CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP COUNCIL, INC., ACTIVITIES
The Christian Leadership Council, Inc., is non--lobbying organization whose aim
is to share Jesus Christ. The Christian Leadership Council, Inc., conducts a
ministry of presence to the Capitol complex. This activity is an on-going and
continuous aspect of the ministry. A staffer regularly visits leaders in
their workplace conducting prayer and solace as desired. Another aspect of
this ministry has been the distribution of Bibles to leaders.
The Christian Leadership Council, Inc., hosts special activities to provide
leadership precepts, paradigms, and challenges to leaders in an ever changing
culture.
- One such leadership seminar the CLC help sponsor was with Rev. Rick
Warren, author of the Purpose Driven Church. The seminar
was well-attended by a number leaders. Rick Warren shared many ideas
from his best seller which targeted man's greatest need, e.g., to find his
purpose as given by God.
- A noteworthy endeavor initiated by the CLC was a luncheon for freshman
legislators. Newly elected leaders were given a first hand insight into the
demands and responsibilities of public service.
- A dinner with Coach Bobby Bowden was held at the Governor's Club. Coach
Bowden shared his testimony as well as many experiences in his role as one
of the nation's top athletic programs.
- In the Spring legislation of 2006, The Christian Leadership Council
hosted a Legislative Dinner with Christian Apologist, Dr. Ravi Zacharias.
Dr. Zacharias heads an international ministry out of Atlanta, RZIM.org, and
hosts a daily radio program, "Just Thinking."

- On November 21, 2006, 7:00 a.m, The Christian Leadership Council, Inc.,
is sponsoring the Capitol Fellowship Breakfast at the Tallahassee
Leon-County Civic Center. The purpose of this breakfast will be to
worship and praise our Lord Jesus Christ and share the love of our Savior
with leaders across the State of Florida. The breakfast will be free
to all invited guests as local churches are underwriting all costs
associated with the event.
