How You Can Be Saved It is our desire at The Christian Leadership Council, Inc., for everyone know
the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man comes to the Father but by me.” (John 14:6) When a person
desires to follow Christ, there are several steps to follow. A—Admit to God that you are a sinner.
All persons need salvation. Everyone has a problem the Bible calls sin. Sin is a
refusal to acknowledge God’s authority over our lives. The result of sin is
spiritual death. Spiritual death means eternal separation from God. (Romans
3:23, 6:23) B—Believe in Jesus Christ as God’s Son
and receive Jesus’ gift of forgiveness from sin. God loves each of us (John
3:16). God offers us salvation. Although we have done nothing to deserve His
love, He wants to save us. In the death of Jesus on the cross, God provided
salvation for all who repent of their sins and believe in Jesus. C—Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to others. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses, resulting in salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)
